Azerbaijan's SOCAR shares insights on gas supply operations in liberated areas

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. The "Azerigas"
Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR)
carried out construction work on gas pipelines in 24 settlements in
the liberated territories of Azerbaijan in 2023, SOCAR's annual
report for 2023 said, Trend reports.
According to the document, within the framework of the “First
State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of
Azerbaijan”, 24 settlements in the Aghdara, Aghdam, Fuzuli,
Khojavand, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli and Lachin regions were
gasified.
Morover, the construction of gas pipelines has been completed in
23 settlements. Currently, the cities of Fizuli and Lachin, the
village of Talish in the Aghdara district, and the village of
Zabukh in the Lachin district are supplied with natural gas.
