Azerbaijan reveals number of mines found in nation's liberated territories in September

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. A total of 478
anti-tank mines, 289 anti-personnel mines, and 3,301 unexploded
ordnance were found and neutralized in September in the liberated
territories of Azerbaijan, Trend reports via ANAMA.
“6,118.2 ha of territory has been cleared of mines and
unexploded ordnance,” the agency says.
To note, the demining operations were carried out by the
Demining Agency, the Defense Ministry, the Emergency Situations
Ministry, and the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan, as well
as four private companies.
