China is ready to assist Azerbaijan in humanitarian demining operations and make a significant contribution to the restoration of liberated territories, Chinachr("39")s chargé dchr("39")affaires in Azerbaijan, Ding Tao, said at a press conference on December 20, Olaylar informs.
He noted that by establishing cooperation with the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), China has demonstrated support for the restoration of Azerbaijanchr("39")s Karabakh region.
"China provides support in the restoration of Azerbaijanchr("39")s liberated territories. Our companies participated in the construction of communication networks in some areas as soon as Azerbaijan restored its sovereignty and territorial integrity. During COP29, Energy China and the Azerbaijani side signed an agreement to implement a 160 MW solar power plant project in Fuzuli, which will be Chinachr("39")s contribution to creating a Green Energy Zone in Azerbaijanchr("39")s liberated territories," said Ding Tao.
The diplomat emphasized that China supports the Azerbaijani authoritieschr("39") strategy for the countrychr("39")s development and is ready to make a greater contribution to the development of Azerbaijani society and improving the populationchr("39")s living standards.
"In addition to actively pursuing trade, economic, and investment cooperation with Azerbaijan to promote industrial development and employment growth in the country, China has been implementing various social projects together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for many years," he added.
