French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he is ready to continue the dialogue on "various matters" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I believe in the power of dialogue, and I would continue the dialogue with Vladimir Putin... There has been no dialogue in the last few months, but I do not rule it out on this or that topic," Macron said on the air of Generation Do It Yourself podcast.
The French president did not rule out as well a conversation with Putin about nuclear power plants, but he did not say what details he would like to discuss regarding these plants.
Macron has called Russia a threat, stressing that "all Europeans" share this opinion.
In addition, the French president reminded of the nuclear threats from Russia after the outbreak of the large-scale war in Ukraine.
