Man dies in bungee jump fall in Chunhurchak after cord snaps, FlyJump owner arrested

AKIPRESS.COM - Founder of the FlyJump bungee jumping company has been detained following the death of a man who died after jumping from a cliff in Chungurchak gorge, according to Chui region's Department of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on July 6 at around 13:30 when a bungee cord snapped during a jump from the cliff at FlyJump located in Alamedin district. As a result, citizen B.A., born in 1985, died on the spot.
The incident has been registered with Alamedin district's Police Department, and a preliminary investigation has begun. A criminal case into creating danger for consumers of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic was launched. 
Citizen N.A., born in 1996, has been detained on suspicion of committing this crime. He is in temporary detention center. Examinations and necessary investigative actions are currently underway, police said.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses reported an ambulance arriving at Chunkurchak after the accident, but the man was already died. According to reports, he came there for a rest with his family. His three children were nearby.
