AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Foreign Minister Aibek Moldogaziev met with the delegation of Japan led by Shibata Mayor Kaoru Nikaido on July 22, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
Kyrgyzstan sees Japan as a close and friendly partner, with which the country shares common values of democratic development, political, trade and economic cooperation, Deputy Foreign Minister Moldogaziev stated.
He told about the political and socio-economic reforms carried out in all spheres of life by the leadership of Kyrgyzstan. The Cabinet of Ministers is tasked to expand high-technology, competitive export industry that will support transition of the national economy from raw export to industrial and innovative type of development.
The parties agreed on intensified bilateral cooperation in various spheres since the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Japan in November 2023.
