Job Responsibilities
- Provide market and trading analysis, proactively investigate new opportunities and provide recommendations;
- Monitor the market and commodities industries and draft accurate reports for the management;
- Monitor and guide the successful execution of algorithmic trading, rolls, and hedging;
- Accurately execute receipts and deliveries across different commodities and trading platforms;
- Contribute continuous improvements for workflow efficiency and accuracy through process improvements leveraging technological solutions wherever possible;
- Collaborate with sales and trading teams to ensure all necessary information and documentation is received and given to, in order to execute trades properly;
- Collaborate with other analysts and the technology team to enhance tools and processes with a penchant for automation.
What we want you to:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics or computer sciences;
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in commodity trading;
- Good written and verbal communications skills in Azerbaijani and English, proficiency in Russian is preferred;
- Deep understanding of trade market and stock exchanges;
- Strong understanding of financial modelling and data analytics;
- Good knowledge of MS office programs and Analytical based tools;
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
- Good communication skills.
