"Whichever step we took in Garabagh, a big global alliance came before us," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said as he delivered a speech at a rally in Bursa, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that some West-oriented forces resorted to every provocation for years to disrupt Türkiye's and the region's stability: "What is happening in Gaza recently does not differ from this. Be assured that those who are blind and deaf to the Muslim blood being spilled in Gaza will do the same if such a disaster happens to us tomorrow. We experienced this. At a time when we had different opinions from Russia, and the terror organizations reached our borders, the Western states took back the air defense systems in our southern cities. We were able to resolve the difficulties of that period with our strength, own ability, and struggle. Whichever step we took in Syria, Libya, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and Garabagh, a big global alliance came before us."
