Putin orders to create digital travel platform

An integrated digital platform in the tourism sphere needs to be created, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the development of year-round seaside resorts, APA reports citing TASS.

"Cutting-edge technologies have to be engaged for planning of trips, for more convenient and less expensive traveling in the country, and for the tourism sector to have the opportunity to grow and increase its efficiency. For this, an integrated digital platform should be formed in tourism just as in all key sectors," Putin said.

The platform should consolidate all data regarding transport logistics, hotels, cafes, sights, museums, and services of private guides, the head of state added.
