Azerbaijan’s net financial assets increase by about $3,3 bln

In 2023, Azerbaijan’s net financial assets increased by USD 3 253.6 mln, APA-Economics reports citing Azerbaijan’s Central Bank.

According to the Central Bank, this indicator was formed on account of direct foreign investments directed abroad (USD 1 875.2 mln.), portfolio investments (USD -11.4 mln.), and other investments (USD 1 389.8 mln.).

During the reporting period, net financial liabilities of the country decreased by USD 1 030.4 mln, which was formed on account of direct foreign investments involved from abroad ( USD -218.2 mln.), oil bonus (USD 471.0 mln.), portfolio investments (USD -694.1 mln.) and other investments (USD -589.1 mln.)
