"The Khojaly Genocide was the result of the systematic racial discrimination and hatred policy of Armenia against Azerbaijanis," Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev said at the commemoration ceremony held on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide in Tbilisi, APA's Georgian bureau reports.
He noted that the fate of 150 people who went missing as a result of Khojaly Genocide and massacres of Azerbaijani civilians by the Armenian armed groups in Jamilli, Karkijahan, Meshali, Malibayli, Gushchular, Garadaghly and other settlements as well as Khojaly, is still unknown.
Note that during the commemoration ceremony organized at the Mirza Phatali Akhundov Museum of Azerbaijan Culture, the memory of those who were martyred for the independence of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.
