The Central Election Commission (CEC) made a decision on September 1 to submit the protocol on the overall results of the voting in the elections for the 7th convocation of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) to the Constitutional Court for its and the election results' approval, APA reports.
At today's CEC meeting, Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated that according to the Electoral Code, the CEC must complete the process of verifying and finalizing the election results within 20 days after election day at the latest.
This process was concluded today.
