Ten bridges across Ak-Buura River in Osh dismantled

AKIPRESS.COM - Ten bridges across the Akbuura River were dismantled in Osh, local municipal property department chief Altynbek Pirmatov said.
The bridges were dismantled on the section from the Dostuk bridge on Alisher Navoi street to Raimbekov street. Many bridges belong to private persons.
The check found that bridges were constructed without permits and were used for unsanctioned trade. 164 points of sale functioned on those bridges in total.
12 bridges were built across the river once. 
The powerful mudflows on July 14 brought trees, debris which jammed between the supports of the bridges. The river overflew its banks and flooded the central market of Osh city and Beksultan market. One woman was carried away. The mudflows also washed away goods, 3 bridges.
