4 women detained in Osh in connection with protest action over relocation of central market

AKIPRESS.COM - Four women were detained in Osh due to the protest action over relocation of the central market, city police department said.
Around 500 gathered at the central square of Osh on July 22. They opposed the plan of the Osh authorities to move the central market to a new place near Megapolis mall. The mayor pledged the new market will be prepared for work in 1-1.5 months. 
However, salespersons said buyers won't come to a new market. It will take a year for people to get accustomed to new place of the market, salespersons said.
