Opening ceremony of traditional art and crafts festival to take place at Fine Arts Museum

AKIPRESS.COM - The opening ceremony of the international festival of traditional art and crafts "Oimo" will take place at the Fine Arts Museum named after Gapar Aitiev on July 24.
The festival has been held in Kyrgyzstan every year since 2006.
The festival features from 100 to 150 people, including artisans, musicians, chefs, cooks, models, actors, and fashion designers. Every year, from 80 to 150 people from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, India, Mongolia, Hungary, Mexico, USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Norway, Sweden, Kuwait take part  in the craft fair.
The exhibition of Kyrgyz artists creating works based on the intangible cultural heritage "Belgi-Signs" is held jointly with the CACSARC-kg with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, TURKSOY, State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation, Union of Artists, and art gallery "Gallery M".
The exhibition will last until August 3.
