The prices of the new generation Citroen C3 Aircross crossover have been disclosed. The unveiling of this European crossover was held back in April, but only now has Citroen publicized the prices and information about the power units, reports Motor.ru.
Europeans are offered several modifications—with a gasoline internal combustion engine, hybrid and electric installations.
In France, the gasoline-powered Citroen C3 Aircross of the second generation can be purchased for 19,400 euros, the hybrid—for 25,500 euros, and the electric crossover will cost at least 27,400 euros.
In April, it was reported that this crossover has grown in size with the generation change, but now features have emerged. The length of the new C3 Aircross reaches 4.39 meters, with a wheelbase of 2.67 meters, and the ground clearance exceeds 200 millimeter. In addition to the standard five-seat version, a three-row interior with seven seats is also announced for the model. In the first case, the volume of the trunk varies from 460 to 1,600 liters, while in the seven-seater with seats, it is only 40 liters when folded.
The specifications of the power units have also been made public. The main crossover is powered by a 102-horsepower gasoline turbo engine, which, as Citroen assures, meets the Euro 7 environmental standard. It works in conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission. The hybrid C3 Aircross is equipped with a 1.2-liter internal combustion engine with up to 136 hp and a 28 hp electric motor integrated into a robotic gearbox.
And the electric C3 Aircross has a 113-horsepower electric motor and a 44-kilowatt-hour battery that can travel up to 300 kilometers on a single charge. The maximum speed is also given: 145 kilometers per hour. A quick charge from 20 to 80 percent takes 26 minutes, and a long charge takes just over four hours. Later, in 2025, the C3 Aircross version with an energy reserve of more than 400 kilometers will be introduced.
The equipment of the new product includes 16- or 17-inch wheels, LED optics, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay information system—with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, air conditioning, and wireless smartphone charging. A suite of safety systems is available: front and rear parking sensors, road sign recognition system, blind spot monitoring, and high beam control system.
Orders are now open in Europe.
