AKIPRESS.COM - The wage gap between Russia and Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan remains significant, according to the World Bank's migration and development brief released on June 26.
The World Bank said the average monthly wage in US dollars in percentage to the Russian level in Uzbekistan made 41.9%, in Kyrgyzstan - 38.8%, in Tajikistan - 19.6%.
Among 328,500 citizens of Kyrgyzstan living abroad, the majority (285,400) lived in Russia in 2023, the brief said with reference to the International Labor Organization.
