Police suspend activities of madrasah that worked without permits

AKIPRESS.COM - The employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration closed madrasah that worked without permits from the authorized government body on July 19, the capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
This fact was registered at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek and a pre-investigation check was launched.
60 children studied in the madrasah at the time of the inspection. The police established that sanitary standards did not meet the requirements. Children were taught without school supplies and huddled in cramped, semi-basement rooms without sunlight or air.
The owner of the madrasah is citizen N.K., born in 1993, police reported.
Currently, the activities of the madrasah have been suspended.
