AKIPRESS.COM - Some 31,500 people died in Kyrgyzstan in 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee.
Compared to 2023, the number of deaths grew by 99. In 2022, some 31,401 deaths were registered.
From 31,500 deaths:
6011 were in Chui region, 5595 in Osh region, 5436 in Jalal-Abad region, 4611 in Bishkek, 2876 in Issyk-Kul region, 2303 in Batken region, 1681 in Naryn region, 1636 in Osh, 1351 in Talas region.
